MY NEW BOOK IS NOW AVAILABLE ...

This book published with the University of Regina Press chronicles my journey deeper into Indigenous knowledge.

After a traditional telling of who I am the second part of the book offers two models and theories of the location of Indigenous knowledge.  Through the use of ancient scrolls I theorize how Indigenous knowledge is different from feminist knowledge and Western laboratory science.  I also offer my personal theory on the location of the human spirit.

In the third part of the book I offer traditional teachings and knowledge that I find valuable.

The fourth part of the book focuses on my anti-colonial work such as challenging the sex discrimination in the Indian Act and the need to protect sacred Indigenous places such as Chaudiere Falls and the Islands.

$25.00 plus $5.00 for shipping in Canada

hi lynn,
thank you for sharing your wisdom on the current this morning. i found your stream of ideas most welcome, and well-rooted, and a relief in some ways to the hysteria that anna maria often cultivates.

i too studied anthro and find it a useful lens. i live on Creator land that has at times been used by the algonquin, the french, the british and now the canadians. so i watched with amazement at how the land deal facilitated the desires of those involved, or didnt. we are growing our own organic food on 10 acres, a better use of land i daresay than the industrial production of soy and corn to feed the billions beyond.

while listening to you i had this idea: all refugees that arrive should be immediately transported to one of our many northern remote first nations communities. that way canada could see how they have benefited from coming by now having access to polluted water, sub-standard housing and food insecurity.

i'm sure anna maria traumatica could turn it into a grand radio show.
koana much.
