If you want to know who someone really is pay attention, watch, and observe how they treat other people. If you only base your opinion of a person on how they treat you, you have an egocentric and myopic analysis of who the person really is. This framework of analysis is egocentric and myopic in that this person may simply want something from you and as such act in a way that is not who they really are.
